하늘의 무지개를 보면

하늘의 무지개를 보면

 

My heart leaps up when I behold

A rainbow in the sky:

So was it when my life began,

So is it now I am a man,

So be it when I shall grow old

Or let me die!

The child is father of the man:

And I could wish my days to be

Bound each to each by natural piety.

 

하늘의 무지개를 보면 내 가슴은 뛰나니

나 어려서도 그러했고

어른이 된 지금도 그러하고

늙어서도 그러할진대

그렇지 않으면 차라리 죽는 것이 나으리

어린이는 어른의 아버지

나의 하루하루가 자연의 경건함으로 이어지기를...
